I find myself coming back to these notes; especially when I don't realize it, but need the reminder because things are a little rough.
There are times when loving one another is more difficult than other times. It's easy to love those who love you, but when you encounter someone who doesn't know the love of God for them it's a much greater challenge. The easy thing to do is to shake it off and walk away. But that's not the right thing to do.
There are at least 10 items in the first list that are difficult to put into practice with some people. It takes effort, and reminders, to live a life in harmony with those commands. The phrase 'one another' includes everyone, believer and non-believer alike. Reading these notes over and over helps me to keep my focus on what is right and off of what is easy.
